Tupolev Tu-128 "Fiddler" Repaint Pack
****************************************************************************************************
Thank you for downloading the Tu-128 repaint pack. This file includes several repaints for Dimitri Samborski's exquisite Tu-128 "Fiddler".
I downloaded this aircraft some time ago, and fell in love, as I'd wanted a Tu-128 for ages, but I was sad to see no repaints were being made. I did not want this beautiful model to go without the repaints she deserved, so I made some. The result is this repaint pack, containing seven repaints, including 3 real-world Soviet Air Force schemes, and 4 fictional export schemes (East German, North Korean, Iraqi, and Chinese). The repaints have been made with a customised paintkit that features many added details (shadows, dirt, weathering, and a more realistic bare metal look).
I hope that you will enjoy these repaints as much as I enjoyed making them, and I hope that this can inspire others to paint this lovely Russian giant.

KNOWN ISSUES/BUGS
*****************************
If installed properly, the repaints should all work fine, but there are a few issues. Basically, the wings and tail use shared texture mapping, and as a result, you will see some schemes have flipped insignias on one side of the wings and tail. The East German scheme is the most glaring, the Iraqi and Chinese ones also suffer from this, but it is much less noticeable. There is no way to fix this so far, unless an updated model with a new texture map is released.

INSTALLATION
*******************
Installation is simple, just place the texture folders in the main Tu-128 folder, usually located in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\Aircraft\Tu-128P (beta). Then simply paste the [fltsim.xx] entries into your aircraft.cfg, replacing the "xx" with the next number in the series. For example, if the last paint in the list is labelled [fltsim.01], then you would replace "xx" with 02, and so on.

CREDITS
************
Full credit for this great model will go to Dimitri Samborski, and the rest of the crew at Samdim Design for this great plane. Without their work, these paints would not be possible. Looking forward to more excellent planes from you.
