На этой неделе обещали релиз. В комплекте с моделью будут идти миссии и сценарии для них. Тобишь, как статические, так и динамические модели. Разрабы еще обещали какой-то «сюрприз».

Flight model features include:
o Boundary Layer Control (BLC) Flaps — can be configured for symmetrical or unsymmetrical operation
o Engine Plugin code to provide accurate supersonic acceleration and cruise performance
o Flight Model enhancement plugin code to provide accurate turn performance
o Plugin modelling of pitch-up due to high Angles of Attack and roll off tendency when throttle is cut with flaps extended
o Flight tested by real CF-104 pilots

Bombing range with aircraft and weapon track cameras which provides bomb scores on your drops. Bombing ranges may be defined in a text file so you can create your own.

Plugin code to implement accurate instrumentation and performance. Some custom instrumentation and systems examples include:
o Radar with general ground mapping, pencil beam, and air-to-air modes
o Position and Homing Indicator (PHI)
o Litton LN-3 Inertial Navigation System (INS) coupled to PHI
o Engine Management System with EGT and nozzle control
o Hydraulic System
o Electrical System which models the three generators as well as the Ram Air Turbine, all of the electrical buses
o Gun and Navigation Reticle

External fuselage and external 3D model have been built in TrueSpace:
o Animated Exhaust Nozzle
o Animated Canopy
o Animated Landing Gear Components
o Animated Control Surfaces
o Animated Drag Chute Door and Chute
o Animated controls and switches
o Ejection including pilot separation from seat and chute deployment

Extras:
o Detailed manual containing the complete flight operations manual as well as X-Plane specific instructions
o Flight Planning tools and Performance Calculator to calculate takeoff speeds, takeoff distance, optimum climb, etc.
o 439 Tiger Squadron Mission package (scheduled for first update). This includes scenery for the old Canadian air base in Baden Soellingen West Germany. Using the «formation!» plugin, scripted missions are available to fly with other AI aircraft to replicate cold war missions from the 70s.
