I post here from New Zealand , where I fly with a VA that has some Russian aircraft . I wish to include more , such as the IL-18 , however , I cannot READ the cockpit !

I will say this . When a CLIENT buys , or leases an aircraft from Boeing , a representative is sent to the manufacturer ( Boeing ) so that the cockpit may be designed to CLIENT SPEC . This has more to do with LAYOUT , and not necessarily the LANGUAGE, but HAVE PITY on us English speaking people who WANT to fly the IL-18 , but CANNOT READ THE PANEL !!!

The solution is VERY SIMPLE , and I would ask developers who WISH for their aircraft to be much more sucessful , and have many more downloads from ENGLISH SPEAKING / READING pilots if the Russian ( Cyrillic ? ) characters could be replaced by characters we CAN read !!!

I do not WANT to » alias » my beautiful IL-18 to another panel !!! But I must…..I will NOT fly with a panel I CANNOT READ !!! ( the aircraft is made by a Cuban author, and appears to be partly SPANISH ! ,,…but I cannot really tell ! ). I have emailed him ( Edgar ) to assist me with this edit. I may be able to do the editing , BUT I CANNOT READ RUSSIAN !

So a word for developers. Make one panel in Russian , and a DUPLICATE panel in ENGLISH !!! ….PLEASE……

Otherwise I will have to stick to Imperialist Pigdog Yankee ( this is a joke ! ) aircraft , or possible Vickers or Bristol .
