There will be a controller trainign session on Bucharest Approach. Come help Approach Controller candidate Hakan Eren and his mentors see if he is capable of controlling on approach and if he is ready for his CPT examination by flying into Bucharest Otopeni ( LROP ) and to Bucharest Baneasa ( LRBS ). The training session will be on the 12th of July starting at 17.00z untill 20.00z.

VATSPA- Barcelona (LEBL)

Barcelona El Prat Airport The airport is the second largest in Spain behind Madrid Barajas Airport and 31st busiest in the world, also it is main airport in Catalonia.

It is a main base for Vueling and a focus city for Air Europa and Iberia.

The airport mainly serves domestic, European and North African destinations, also having flights to Southeast Asia,

of singers held in Jurmala (Latvia) «New Wave 2012».

Of course as always we will provide realistic Ground-Top service covering also smaller airports

like Liepaja and Ventspils just in case you are into general aviation..

As well for enroute control for neighbour FIR’s provided by Baltic Control, to ensure the best

experience especially for You.

Good day fellow captain’s and dear colleagues!

Latvia Virtual Area Control Centre invites you to join our first autumn event

which is taking place at Riga Intl Airport (RIX/EVRA) on 30th August.

As the end of a summer is near, we feel that it’s the right moment to say GoodBye to summer and welcome the new season — AUTUMN.

Fly to Riga and let’s give a warm welcome to autumn, 4 hour non-stop ATC service will be provided to heat up the place.

The AUTUMN GRAND OPENING is here! All types of aircraft’s are welcome, fuel up, get ready and fly to make the evening busy for our Air Traffic Controllers.

Top-Down ATC service will be provided, along with enroute control outside Latvia. We promise — it will be FUN.

• over 30 Controllers will meet in Vienna to staff the ATC stations

• Vienna Schwechat (LOWW) and Innsbruck Kranebitten (LOWI) will be fully staffed! More Airports depending on availability

• hence, the whole Austrian airspace will be available at full service on the weekend from the 13th until the 14th October 2012

What do I need as a pilot to participate?

• high spirits and flight-preparation!

• time: Saturday from 0800z until Sunday from 02000z (reduced staffing after 2000z)

Autumn Holiday Service

Холода всё ближе и ближе, а с их приближением у туристов всё меньше шансов искупаться в море. Emirates vACC is proud to announce one of the biggest events of 2013 which is called »The World Is Coming» at 21st of December 2013 between 18:00UT and 22:00UTC. On this evening the whole Emirates FIR will be covered by an experienced and proffesional ATC team of UAE vACC. We can promise you an enormous amount of traffic,busy frequancy without a gap to talk.We are sure that this evening will be a demanding experience for pilots being hungry of a real challenge.

Our special guests confirmed the participation, with over 500+ inbounds from around the world jointly, all that between 1800Z and 2200Z! Let’s crash the UAE airspace and overload the holdings! See you on the 21st!!

The winter is finally backing down! Spring is coming in, fast! The birds are chirping, the sun is shining and the temperatures are returning to on course for the summer, so while the weather is still chilly come and enjoy the sights of Riga, where on the 7th of March Filip Markoski will be testing his skills to the max for his C1 rating. After the test enjoy the warm welcoming of other positions in Riga!

Live! Hundreds Cross The Pond Today

VATSIM рада представить вам событие, которое проходит два раза в год — Cross The Pond. Westbound

Рейсы из Европы Flights состоятся сегодня в сторону США и Канады и будут длиться более 8 часов под непрерывным контролем диспетчеров УВД.

Каждый пилот полетит через Северную Атлантику используя NAT — North Atlantic Track System под управлением высококвалифицированных диспетчеров.

Первый раз в истории VATSIM будет показывать полёты в прямом эфире, предоставляя возможность глубже окунуться в это мероприятие.
