****** RADAR gauge for FS2004 ******

This text file was compiled by Nick Pike from information supplied by Arne Bartels.
This TCAS radar gauge is brand new and could be considered as a beta, but works really well and has caused me no problems. However, I would be surprised if problems arise knowing this gauge's pedigree.

From Arne,

.....the TrafficInfo file originates from the SDK and have to be at its place (TrafficInfo.dll in the modules folder).
"Older" Windows versions need the gdiplus.dll in the Fs directory,
if you don't have it "borrow" it from a WXP system (1MB filesize).
Note from Nick Pike. I'm not sure what "Older" refers to, but if it does not work with OS older than XP, you can d/l this file from the internet.

At the moment a circular radar face is visible with green circles for running aircraft and white for aicraft with engines off. A short line indicates their track angle (normal AI) or true heading (multiplayer). Also the altitude difference is marked right to the circle in hundreds of feet up to 9900ft. The colour changes to yellow for TAs and to red for RAs.
The range is selectable. Hover the mouse over a circle, and more aircraft information shows in a tooltip.

The radar range on the gauge face is different the range shown in the tooltip. On the screen the range is written to the second range ring, whereas the tooltip shows the maximum range which is always 3/2 of the second range ring.
