Немного инфы от строителей Антарктики:
the cataloging work on Antarctica has been enriched with a (first) list of planes (about 60) that have operated or are being used in Antarctica: for each of these, as was the case for airports and research Bases, there is a card containing data, iconographic material and links to any model of aircraft made, compatible with X-Plane versions 10 and 11.
In the creation of the catalog I was primarily based on the informations that appear on the most interesting book "Notes on Antarctic Aviation" by Malcolm Mellor, August 1993, which is available on the WEB downloadable pdf in Notes_on_Antarctic_Aviation.
The airplanes I've added have always had a confirmation on the images and news available on the web.
Surely there may have been mistakes or additional info: every report on this is absolutely welcome.
Given the freeware / donationware features of our Antarctica4XPlane project, we chose to report only the achievements of planes of similar and obviously usable features in our project, therefore (quite) compatible with versions 10 and 11 of the simulator.
You can usually start from our site Maps2XPlane https://maps2xplane.com, or go directly to the summary list's pdf Catalog https://www.dropbox.com/s/j0cl41fnamffe64/Antarctica4XPlane.pdf?dl=0.
